Saw you on the Hoku's. Glad to see Hawaii being introduced to Latin Jazz by a local lady in such an important venue. It's a tuff nut to crack in our wonderful isolated world, promoting and educating about different aspects of the music industry. I only wish V.P. would have seen you up their playing the most beautiful, best sounding congas in the world, made right here in your own back yard. You would have blown them away twice as much playing solid Koa congas up their. We had a set in Waipahu that you could have used for the asking. Anyway, you looked beautiful and sounded great, but you can imagine how I felt seeing you playing Meinls representing Hawaii. It's like Jake playing a Uke, Made in Thailand. Aloha Nui Loa, Tom......P.S. We're also representing Remo Int'l as an alternative to cowhide heads now for those damp, humid situations.
